E-Vocabulary, le projet éducatif co-financé du programme de Leonardo da Vinci, est un projet des partenaires des sept pays européens. Le but du projet est de développer un vocabulaire online complet des terminologies professionnelles de l´hôtellerie et du tourisme dans une vingtaine de langues européennes. Avec cet instrument des travailleurs dans l´industrie hôtellière et dans le tourisme, auront l´opportunité d´améliorer leurs capacités professionnelles et d´acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour l´entrée sur le marché européen du travail ouvert. Les usagers du vocabulaire ainsi gagneront un meilleur accès aux informations professionnelles et au savoir-faire actuel dans ces domaines. Le vocabulaire online sera d´une aide aussi pour l´enseignement dans les langues étrangères comme un outil de l´éducation vocationelle. Au présent, avec la répansion accélérée de l´internet et d´autres techniques modernes de communication, le vocabulaire on-line permettera l´usage parmi des jeunes travailleurs, étudiants et entreprises spécialisés dans le tourisme et l´hôtellerie à travers de l´Union européenne.
E-Vocabulary is an educational project co-financed by the Leonardo da Vinci program. It is a common project of partners from seven European countries. The aim of the project is to develop a comprehensive online terminology bank of vocabulary specifically aimed at the hotel and tourism profession, in twenty European languages. This tool will give the workers in the Hotel and Tourism Industry firstly, an opportunity to upgrade their professional skills and to acquire competencies and skills necessary to join an open European labour market, secondly an opportunity to get better access to professional information within the industry on a European wide level. The on-line vocabulary will also help as a tool for language teaching in vocational education. At present with the continuous evolving expansion of the Internet and other modern communication technologies, the on-line working vocabulary will compliment and enhance the current mechanicisms in place and ensure a variety of users ranging from low to high skilled workers from within the Hotel and Tourism Industry throughout the European Community.
